Along with anyone else who has the slightest sense of humanity, I've been watching the despicable destruction and violence of the last 3 days with a mixture of anger and disgust. This blog isn't the place to dwell on it, but I wanted to draw your attention to a photo that really made my day. I hope the photographer won't mind me using it, but when I was feeling depressed and fearful about what's happening in London and around the country, this picture of the people who turned out today to clean up the vandalism in Clapham restored my faith in human nature.
My other happy picture today was this one of Etsy's homepage.... because for the first time ever (to my knowledge)
one of my items is on it! I'm chuffed to bits as I think it shows that the work I've been doing to improve my photography is paying off. Onwards and upwards...

Well done on your front page! Agree totally re. riots. Shame they have started on Manchester now. Its really depressing isn't it? Hope there is an end to this madness very soon.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the front page. The riots are so sad and awful, I hope that the message of the clean up volunteers is the one that will persist after this has all ended. They really are more powerful in their peacefulness than any number of rioters. Cx
