Most Wanted - Chalk Hill Studio

Hello all - have been a bit slow to get going this week, but I thought it was time for an indie feature! I found Chalk Hill Studio when I was looking for a new baby card that didn't point out the obvious ("You've had a baby!") or make me want to throw up. Karen Jinks, the designer behind Chalk Hill, has 2 great options, both of which I've bought over the last year or two; this cute little footprint design (in blue, pink or this neutral colour):


and this sweet and simple Angel card in pink for a baby girl.


Karen is an artist and freelance illustrator who lives with her family in Cambridgeshire. She set up her business in 2000, and now makes her own greeting cards, stationary, beautiful handmade note/sketchbooks and artwork. I wish I had a birthday coming up, because I really want this beautiful handmade photo album.

If you've always fancied owning some original artwork but don't have the funds, you should check out the gorgeous mini canvases at just £25 each. My favourite is this mixed media piece, but I'd love to have a row of them along a wall.
